Why Wing Chess Academy
- Experienced Coach- Wing Chess provides specialized teachers such as a National Master with 10 years of coaching experience.
- Small classes - Wing Chess believes in order for our student to succeed, they must be taught in a small and interactive environment. We aim to keep each class size small and grouped upon the different skill levels.
- Variety of classes- Although chess is but one game, there are many different ways of approaching it. We offer different classes based on the needs and requirements of the students. These classes range from learning the basics of chess to specific strategies to be used during play.
- Chess Community - Wing Chess aims to build a community where students are able to learn and practice chess in many different ways rather than be just confined to practicing repetitive movements. We also wish to engage parents in this community by offering free chess lectures so that they may also understand what their child is currently learning. Wing Chess also offers cultural exchange opportunities with chess students in different countries as well as Master Simuls where one National Master may play as many as 10 students at once. We hope that through this community, our students are able to not only learn the life skills that come along with chess but also make life-long friends too.
